Founded in 2014, the concept for Freezylist was developed by Ben Lyon with the conviction that real estate must evolve. For Instance, 5.5 million homes were traded in 2020, each with a commission of 6%. At an average value of $200K, the total erosion of owner equity translates to $4 Billion, annually.
However, the markets have shifted since 2015. In 6 years, the majority of consumers are educated and information is accessible. Considering this shift, the dependence on brokerages should not be a requirement.
The Freezylist team does not villify real estate brokers, as they still provide meaningful services; however, 'By Owner' options should be expanding in the information age. In order to provide meaningful solutions to a monopolized economy, Mr. Lyon used his expertise in IT & Real Estate to develop a platform dedicated to an Owner-Centric economy.
HOW SUCCESS IS ACHEIVED
The function of a broker is to deliver a "Ready and Willing Buyer." As agents are specialists in marketing real property, they must rely on the support of their network to facilitate the closing process.
Our services re-create the Realtor Network model, with Home Owners at the center. We provide a marketing interface, a service provider framework, a network of peers and neighbors, scheduling tools, communication channels, and an integrated solution that can prepare your contracts and facilitate the signing process.
Further, Exclusive Listing Agreements allow simultaneously listing "By Owner" and with a broker. We challenge Home Owners to leverage this opportunity to strengthen agent performance and potentially avoid a large commission.
